The novel I have been reading is called "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kidd. This novel is a ab ovo narrative.Elements of plot arre the exposition, rising action, climax, and outcome.Exposition was that Lily lived a misrable life with her father ever since her mother died.The rising action is that Lily and Rosaleen run away to Triburon and stayed with Augest Boatwrite. Climax is when Lily comfrots her father in the pink house. The outcome is that Lily decides to just start over. In the novel there is alot of forshadowing one example is when Lily watched bees fly around in her room because it forshadowed her stay at Augest bee farm. There are also flashbacks when Lily tell the reader about her mother.Sue Monk Kidd organized the novel
