Analysis Of Paul's Game
Pablo is up to bat. Everyone in the ballpark could see that he was quite nervous. It was his first game ever. He was bending his legs, elbows were up, and his eyes were looking at the pitcher. His pupils were as large as marbles. With the crowd at its feet, the pitcher wound his arm back and pitched the ball.
“Please don’t swing, please don’t swing, that is way outside.” Ricky thought to himself. Suspension and tension was amongst all 15,000 in the little league ballpark. However, Pablo took a huge hack at the knee bender.
“Strike One!” exclaimed the umpire. There was a moan amongst the large crowd. It was quite obvious that they were disappointed. Pablo still has two more pitches to achieve a hit. With the team down by a score of 2-1, every

After a long few seconds, the pitcher began his windup and pitched the ball. Even though Pablo missed the first pitch, he doesn’t mess up twice in a row. The crowd was on the edge of their seat, just waiting for Pablo to make a statement.
“Crack!” Pablo crushed a long fly ball to deep right field. Pablo’s mind was racing following his hit.
“Am I out?” He asked himself. The roar of the crowd was as loud as steam engine blowing the middle of the night. It turns out that Pablo had achieved his goal.
Home run!” the umpire exclaimed while giving the hand signal. Pablo was extremely excited and proud of his hit. Once touching home plate, Ricky along with his teammates greeted Pablo at home plate with a brief celebration. Pablo’s homerun evened the score a 2-2. The Marlins would eventually end up winning the game 3-2.
Following the game, Pablo went over to Ricky’s house. The two had been best friends since the fourth grade. Two years later, the two are closer than ever.
“ Do you want to go to Boston with me over the weekend? My parents said I could bring a friend along.” Ricky asked him. Pablo didn’t know what to think. He has never been invited to go somewhere with

I have never been to a professional game before.” He asked.
“Sounds like fun, I have always wanted to go and watch David Ortiz play some ball.”
“So lets make it happen. I will have my parents order the tickets.” The two were so excited to be able to go on a trip together. But until their mini vacation, the both of them had to focus on a game coming up. Especially against their rivals, the Lake Michigan Minnows.
Coming off of a great performance, the coach has allowed Pablo to start at right field. Pablo had another great game and managed to achieve two hits and the Marlins defeated the Minnows by a shutout score of 10-0. Pablo is proud, and excited. He was proud of the way he is able to come out and perform for his team. He was excited about the Boston trip. He was dropped off at Ricky’s house at approximately 3:00 am. Tired but excited, they all piled into the car and left for the airport. Upon their arrival at the airport, both Pablo and Ricky were both amused about the place.
Once on they were on the plane, Pablo and Ricky slept from the time they took off, until the moment they landed in Boston.
“What do you want to do? It is only eight o’clock.” Ricky asked

“Come on, Rick – come on, Deb,” I whined. But Rick mimicked me and the same day that I asked him to wear shoes he came to the diner table in only his swim trunks. My mother didn’t notice, nor did my sister, as we sat to eat our beans and tortillas in the stifling heat of our kitchen. We all gleamed like cellophane, wiping the sweat from our brows with the backs of our hands as we talked about the day: Frankie our neighbor was beat up by Faustino; the swimming pool at the playground would be closed for a day because the pump was broken.…

“The Closer” is an autobiography by Mariano Rivera. Mariano was born on November 29, 1969 in Panama City. He pitched for the New York Yankees from 1995 to 2013 and is seen by many baseball fans as the greatest closing pitcher to ever play the game. Mariano totaled 652 career saves, which is a record in Major League Baseball (MLB). A save in baseball is when a pitcher enters the game with their team in the lead and finishes the game without ever losing the lead.
