Analysis Of Martin Luther King's Speech
LOOK ITS the one and only, Martin Luther King jr! I can see him coming now! Martin is about to give his speech, I hope it’s wonderful, I’ve been waiting all day! Martin Luther king’s Speech:
“and when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing.”
This speech represented what he was meant to do, he wanted to end racism in the United States and call for civil and economic rights for all people. In this speech he talked about how racism was affecting people’s lives in a negative way and he wanted to create a better place where everyone felt welcome and equal. …show more content…
Even though he himself was a black man, he used that as an opportunity to lead this movement and show that anyone can change something and it doesn’t have to matter what color you are, size, weight, religion or where you’re from. He is not just remembered because he made a change to the lives of people in the U.S but he used non-violence he believed that people could be more powerful with their words than there physical actions (using guns/hurting other people).he thought that using violence to prove a point that they could do anything they want would only hurt the civil rights by showing that they couldn’t work together to concur with their voices. He did not want to make his point through violence, but through principle and dignity!
