Analysis Of Five Billion Years Of Solitude: The Search For Life Among The Stars
I will write about something we all may think about it one day. It is Life beyond Earth. Are we alone in the universe? Are there creatures other?
"In his book "Five Billion Years of Solitude: the Search for Life Among the Stars", Lee Billings describes the quest for answers to this profound question". (Lissauer, 2014, p. 2)
"Astrobiology" is a field studies the interdisciplinary scientific several forms of direct searches for life beyond our planet. (Lissauer, 2014)
"If life spreads between planets, inhabited worlds should clump in space like colonies of bacteria on a Petri dish. Otherwise, Lin says, its signature would be seen on just a few, randomly scattered planets". (Sokol, 2015, p. 4)
Finally, it's time to know our friends in the universe.

There is most certainly microbial life on other planets. Life cannot be produced by non-life. When the earth was created, it is incredibly likely that an asteroid, meteor, or cosmic dust had come to the Earth’s surface and began to grow, multiply, and evolve. There is evidence of extraterrestrial microfossils dating back millions to billions of years ago; indicating that, at one point, there was microbial life on other planets. Prokaryotes multiply by a means of asexual reproduction called binary fission. In binary fission, the cell simply needs to grow twice its size, and then it divides into two identical cells. Since prokaryotes are very simple organisms, and there is evidence of ancient extraterrestrial microbial…

    Why Aliens Do Not Exist

A habitable planet is one capable of supporting life. For a planet to be considered habitable, life on it would have to be carbon-based and would have to use liquid water (Lissauer C11). Here on Earth, carbon cycles between the atmosphere, the oceans, living organisms, fossil fuels, and carbonate rocks. Scientists have been searching for Earth-like planets for a long time. According to an article called Are We Alone by Gregg Easterbrook, Frank Drake held a conference of physicists and astronomers in the year 1960. There he proposed his mathematical equation for predicting whether aliens exist. The result based on the equation was that there are about a million extraterrestrial civilizations scattered across our galaxy. Many of the scientists…

Astrobiology is the area of study dealing with alien life, the likelihood of finding it, where it might be found, how it evolved, its morphology, its culture, etc. It's a huge field that overlaps all the sciences but especially the geosciences, evolutionary biology, chemistry and bio-chemistry and astronomy. In the following report I focus on astrobiology as it applies to geology, or what kinds of planets, stars and solar systems are the most likely to play host to life in some form or another.…

Given the way life is so tenacious, adaptive, and varied here on Earth -- almost as if it has a mind of its own -- I wouldn 't be surprised that we find life is abundant throughout the universe. And that life does have a mind of its own . . . a mind hinted at by the mystical aspects of quantum physics . . . a mind that is part and parcel of the material universe . . . a mind that is as close as you can get to God.…

The Orion Nebula contains one of the brightest star clusters in the night sky. With a magnitude of 4, this nebula is easily visible from the Northern Hemisphere during the winter months. It is surprising, therefore, that this region was not documented until 1610 by a French lawyer named Nicholas-Claude Fabri de Peiresc. On March 4, 1769, Charles Messier inducted the Orion Nebula, M42, into his list of stellar objects. Then, in 1771, Messier released his list of objects for its first publication in Memoires de l'Academie.1…

With all our knowledge of everything around us, overwhelming as it may be, there are still a lot of aspects that are unknown to even the smartest scientists. Did you know that humans know only 5% of the entire universe? Yes, everything we know about the Earth, the Milky Way, and all the planets is barely even a fourth of what comprises the entirety of the universe. Knowing that, it would be illogical to say that the creatures on Earth are the only forms of life in the universe. Today I will tell you about unidentified object sightings, close encounters and even abductions.…
