Analysis Of A Strong Empathy For Christina's Session
During this counseling session, I portrayed strong empathy for Christina’s situation by how I continued to listen, asking Christina about her behaviors, and asking open-ended questions that describe how Christina is feeling. In regards to Christina’s behaviors, I knew how it felt to be frustrated and angry at my mother. There were times during my adolescent and early adult years where I did not agree with my mother’s choices and was frustrated with her because I wanted her to make the choices that were going to benefit her difficult situation or happiness.
