Analysis Of A Hair Swatch
Take each swatch of hair and secure the top of hair with a rubber band. Put on protective gloves. Follow the direction on lightening activator package for mixing the 40 volume cream peroxide developer (4oz) and lightening activator (one package). Use a bowl to mix the solutions. Pour one cup of lemon juice inside a bowl. Pour one cup of hydrogen peroxide inside a bowl. Lay three hair swatches on a piece of aluminum foil. Apply the lightening mixture to one hair swatch with the dye brush. Saturate the swatch with the mixture. Dip a hair swatch inside the lemon juice and dip another hair swatch inside the hydrogen peroxide. After dipping the hair, lay each swatch back on a piece of aluminum foil. Place the swatches saturate with lemon juice

First let’s find out what makes hair curly in the first place. There is more than one school of thought on this subject. Some hair scholars believe whether your hair is straight or curly depends on the shape of the hair shaft, which is determined by the shape of the hair follicle. A cross section view of a straight hair would appear round, while a similar view of a curly hair would appear oval. This shape is determined by a genetic pre-disposition. Others believe that hair is curly or straight, depending upon the number of disulfide bonds between hair proteins found in the hair shaft.
