Amir's Fight With Guilt In 'The Kite Runner'
Amir being so fought with guilt about his own actions or rather lack of actions led him to fight with Hassan. Hassan refuses to fight with him and instead just stands there and pushes through the pain of his friends yet again hurting him. Hassan has done nothing wrong but he is the victim yet again. Amir is so sure that Hassan hates him instead of just trusting him that he has now hurt Hassan himself, permanently damaging their relationship, Hassan’s trust for him.
