American Idiot Character Analysis
American idiot is the play adaptation based off of Green Day’s 2004 album of the same title. The story follows a group of seemingly futureless friends in their late twenties Jonny, Will, and Tunny living in the suburbs of post 9/11 New York. Unhappy with the state of the union and their current living situations the gang decides to party and drink their sorrows away. On an alcohol run the three talk about their frustrations and Johnny decides to get bus tickets for him and his friends to go into the city, due to circumstances concerning Will’s girlfriend, he doesn’t go.
