America The Home Of The Brave Analysis
The America I believe in is the land of the free and the home of the brave. I think America is the most magnificent country in all the world. This country is the best because we are free, we have different job opportunities, and other opportunities for new life. I think everyone would want an opportunity to live here if they knew just how great it really is. We Americans need to be thankful, we are privileged enough to live in a country such as this one, the freest country in the world.
The America I believe in is great, becuase of all the freedoms and opportunities we have. People that live here do not know just how free and privileged we are to live here, and consequently we take it for granted. Freedom in my opinion is the best thing anyone

Dinesh D’Souza, a distinguished writer, is infamous for persuading his audiences to accept his views through clever use of fallacy. When he first began his public career at Dartmouth College, he was already known as “Distort D’Newsa” because of his conservative stance, which greatly affected his arguments. He rose to national fame when he served as a policy advisor for the conservative Ronald Reagan. In his essay What’s Great About America, D’Souza effectively argues his view that America is great, with partial truths. Instead of glorifying America’s successes, he focuses on hot-button issues and undermines liberal opinions.…

Both the Zinn article and the documentary "The Men Who Built America" are good sources of learning, but if a reader wants a good source of learning that isn't biased or exaggerated he/she is better off reading the Zinn article. At first glance, the Zinn article is very long with over forty pages. The length of the article may cause a student to shy away from the reading. It may seem like a good idea, but the narrator of the documentary " The Men Who Built America" is very biased towards the characters by describing them as greedy and selfish. on the other hand, the article "Robber Barons and Rebels doesn't give a description of the characters who took part during the birth of capitalism in America. Instead, the Zinn Article gives the reader facts…

America as viewed today differs much from the time Thomas Paine wrote The Rights Of Man (1791). It is true that Paine did have some correct statements; he was educated, and knew the likelihood of what was to become of this country. With his idea of our american society, “Made up, as it is, of people from different nations, accustomed to different forms and habits of government, speaking different languages, and more different in their modes of worship” but overall I can only say that I qualify with his statements. Most people from different countries see America as a promise land, that brings freedom and joy but, things aren't always that way.…

When you hear the word "America", what do you think of? Many would associate this word with freedom, home, friendliness, opportunity, or even greatness. The truth of this reality is that America isn't what people imagine it to be. Americans suggest their country is the greatest place in the world but in fact the corruption, debt, lack of public services and the rude behavior of its people makes America come up short of other's expectations. We the people only imagine it to be great because we live here. The real question to ask yourself is whether everything you have to say about America is true?…

The America I believe in is a beautiful and fascinating place. It is full of so many people that every now and again need to build more places for people to work. But the only reason we have a great deal of people in America is for the cause of some people wanting to get away from the wars, to help their family while they are in need, to not have to worry about getting bombed every day, but to be free. They also come here to get jobs and go to school to learn how to get jobs. And to get the chance to actually believe in something other than an object or their rulers. And since we are in America, we don’t have to worry about that because we have the freedom to believe in who or what we want. We have the freedom to say or at least think what…

Teenagers these days no longer show their pride in being an American anymore. I truly believe that without that pride in your country, there is no America. To encourage those people, maybe even friends of your own, to actually show the pride that they may or may not have in their country, you must make them realize how wonderful this country is and how well off they have it here compared to other countries all over the world. Though America is in a bad time at the moment, we have the strength and persistence to get through it as we have in the past.…

Do you think America is the land of opportunity for all people? In my personal opinion, it depends on the person, because if you have someone with a lot of passion, they are hardworking; will go after what they want, will not stop till they get it, and then America is the land of opportunity for them. This is because America has much to offer people if they will just work for it. However, if you have someone who gives up easily, will not fight for what they want, don’t want to go get a job, then it is not going to be the land of opportunity for them. Also, I feel like the government takes too much taxes out of people’s paychecks to give to someone who can physically work; but being that they are lazy, they will not get off the couch and go…
