America In The Future
For the future of globalization in the tourism, it will be based off of what is happening in the world in the future. If there is war, shootings and other negative activity in the world, globalization will not happen because there would have to be peace and every nation agreeing to a set of rules. I personally do not think it will happen with how the world is acting and getting every nation to agree on something sounds close to impossible. I believe that America will continue to influence other countries to until they realize how many flaws are in America. If I were to look at America from the outside, I would not want to join their lifestyle or culture because I see a corrupt government, mass shootings, culture imbalance and unfair treatment

In Albert Brooks, 2030: The Real Story of What Happens to America, the American population has started aging proficiently. While upon first look, this book appears to be a book simply about what Brooks predicts will happen in the future, it is actually about a lot more. I am sure that there would be no complaints if cancer was cured tomorrow. Well in 2030, this dream comes true. The cure of cancer brought about a surge of baby boomers, in the millions. This appears to be a good idea, I mean who would oppose population growth? Although with millions of baby boomers, and one of the biggest causes of death eradicated, overpopulation began to set in. The resources that were originally supposed to hold baby boomers into around their seventies…

Americans think that we are intelligent, honest, and patriotic; which may be true. Other countries think that we are lazy, obese, and mean; which may also be true. However, I have found that people forget our past and how far we have come. Throughout the ages America has enhanced technology and warped society in a greater way. The America I believe in is an America of change.…

I believe if everyone stopped the violence America would be a much more safe and better country.…

The third thing about Modern day America that would have driven Hamlet insane is the skeptical attitude that modern day society has toward the idea of being able to ‘see’ apparitions. His father’s admonitions of danger and demands for vengeance would have likely had Hamlet committed had he confided these things to anyone from the present-day. His matter of fact acceptance of the sight of his father’s ghost as real is apparent from the following passage:…

Progress is a steady improvement, on advancement toward a better stage, America has made an enormous progression because of the charter issued by King James I of England; John Smith; and even though it was a small contribution, the Tobacco industry which was established by John Rolfe. May 24th was the first day for many settlers and they had no idea as to that day being the first day of the rest of their lives. A couple years passed and a charter came along from the king of England.…

In discussions of the past and present freedom towards all Americans, one controversial issue has been discrimination and racism towards certain races in present day America. On the one hand, people view discrimination as just and equal towards minorities in order to separate the races in society. On the other hand, segregation brought by Jim Crow and Immigration Laws during the 19th century was unjust towards the targeted races. Although segregation and immigration acts have been ended with newer laws, such as the 13th amendment, complete freedom has not yet been granted due to the ongoing racism, injustice, and inequality in present day America.…

If I were to be asked what I envisioned for America 8 years ago, I probably would have said something along the lines like “For everybody to be happy, and kind to one another.” Though now that I think of what I would have said my vision was it was more dreamlike, not a realistic vision. So now I would have to say my vision for America is to prepare each upcoming generation with better education, morals, and discipline.…

“We think of America as a land of opportunity”, and it was. Back between the 1600’s through 1774 America was a great place to start off fresh and move onto something new and exciting. Many people wanted to relocate to the America’s due to the great rumors, which it had lead on. Although there were many opportunities available in America, they were limited and were a struggle to succeed in for some. The new settlers of America came from many different backgrounds and had different reasons of interest to relocate. For some, like the pilgrims, America was an opportunity of freedom, freedom of religion, or freedom of speech due to political reasons. For others, America was a land of wealth, a place where many believed they could succeed in reaching a higher power. America is also considered a place of new resources, and new skills that many did not have but surely needed.…

A feeling of expectation and desire for something to happen, hope. Everyone hopes for a good future but what should they expect. America has done many bad things in the past, it hosted slavery, racism, terrorism, The Great Depression, genocide and has partaken in many wars. When I think about the way I want America to be, I do not picture it the way that it is today. Everyone competing with each other, racism, innocent citizens murdered, even the elderly are being mistreated. Homeless people line the streets, garbage covers the ground at a park that was once a fun place to go and play, but now is just a dump. My vision for America isn’t the hell that we live in now.…

An unspoken language echoes in the voice of every member of American culture, a sort of Tongues that is heard in the inflections and connotations of every sentence uttered in the United States, regardless of sex culture or creed; although, it affects each voice in a different way. This language is the one formed by society constructs that date back to Portuguese sailors in the Middle Passage, and it is identified by essayist Hortense Spillers in her work, Mama’s Baby, Papa’s Maybe: An American Grammar Book (71). Spillers identifies the ways in which language interacts with the positionality of race and gender, and depicts what is perhaps the most quintessential aspects of Americana - the prejudices and persecutions hidden…

Globalization has been underway since the dawn of history. “It is now characterized by shrinking space and time and by vanishing borders. Globalizing processes are dismantling obstacles to movement. As a result, there has been an increasing flow of people, goods, services, ideas, technologies and information across international borders. In simple terms, globalization is defined as a ‘process that widens the extent and form of cross-border transactions among peoples, assets, goods and services and that deepens the economic interdependence between and among globalizing entities, which may be private or public institutions or governments” (Lubbers 2000). Globalization is a basically connecting different country together as a global village.…
