The influential female model in my life is Amelia Earhart. I favor her considering it was her story that impacted me in the manner of expounding on the things that women can do, which is truly anything they set their minds to. As the first female pilot, she was not content with staying in the stereotype of the common housewife. She was not intimidated to step away from stipulation and pursue alternatives as she desired. She was a woman that was confident in herself and did as she saw suitable. She didn’t let the opinions of others draw her focus away.
