In my opinion, though, I think the legalizing is long overdue for the LGBT community, since the US claims to be a free country. I say the couples should be allowed to do what they want. Even if it is a controversial subject, there isn’t any harm in it, and the gay community can feel more accepted now. They have the rights to be able to love who they want.
