Aliens Do Exist
Aliens Do Exist
Juliet Robertson Many people are fixed on the belief that aliens are fun, fantasy creatures that exist only in children’s books. They believe that the idea of aliens being on Earth is impossible and that all ‘encounters’ are set ups or hoaxes. However, I think that to assume that our planet is the only one capable of housing a species that has evolved and progressed is an arrogant statement. If this describes your attitude towards aliens, I hope to open your mind and help you see the possibilities even if your opinion is not changed.
Firstly, I would like to address the ‘Roswell Incident’. This incident took place on July 7, 1947 and the name ‘Roswell’ has now become synonymous with UFOs. There are many controversies over what happened on that day in July and I would like to agree with the theory that is by far the most exciting, popular and intriguing. The first recount is that a UFO fell onto a range near Roswell, New Mexico. What dropped from the sky was an alien spacecraft that contained extra-terrestrial life. This theory comes from many scientists and not just the general public. However the answer belonging to the United States Armed Forces is slightly different. They claimed then, and to this day, that the object that fell was an experimental high-altitude surveillance balloon belonging to what was then a top secret program named ‘Mogul’. I however, agree with the first approach and believe that what landed was indeed some sort of machinery not made in Earth. This incident is the most well-known of UFO crashes and the suspicious behaviour (such as confiscating the remains as quickly as was possible and hasty ‘balloon’ theory) by the US Armed Forces only increased the belief that it was aliens crashing in Roswell. I think that Roswell was a legitimate affair that did include aliens or alien equipment.
Next, I think we should discuss the famous (and infamous) Area 51. Rumors of Area 51 include; the storage and examination of crashed

In spite of all the evidence to the contrary, theorists say the moon landing was stage The U.S. government, desperate to either beat the Soviets in the space race or distract from Vietnam, put Neil Armstrong under lights on a secret set somewhere in the desert. Despite theorists’ claims that man never landed on the moon, their supposed evidence contain black and white fallacy, circular reasoning, non sequitur fallacy, and straw man fallacies. Scientists have proven that these claims are invalid with explanations of the discrepancies that theorists have failed to acknowledge.…

I am writing to you in regard to the conspiracy theories surrounding Area 51, and the lack of evidence to support these conspiracies. The conspiracy theories are centered on the belief that there is extraterrestrial life within Area 51. People, who live around the area or were traveling have claim they saw unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the airspace above Area 51, especially during the 1950s and 1960s. The theory that UFOs and extraterrestrial life are located within Area 51 has been strengthen, due to the testimony from a former private contractor who had worked at the military facility in Area 51. Many proofs of the landing have been released to the public. For example, there is one piece of evidence that is impossible to have been from Earth. A .6mm glass spherule produced by a meteorite impacting onto the lunar soil. Dr. Marc Norman explains, "We've found a particle of fresh glass in moon rocks that were produced by explosive volcanic activity and by meteorite impacts over 3 billion years ago." In basic terms, this specific particle could have only been produced on the moon here on Earth water rapidly breaks down such volcanic glass in only a few million years. Which leads theorists to question themselves if it really indeed happened. But an open investigation is supported by people overseas too. Vladimir Markin, the spokesman for Russia's investigative Committee, penned a column for the Russian newspaper Izvestia focusing on the US FIFA corruption investigations. The list of investigations included the Apollo mission that everyone is debating about. Markin Cites the loss of the original Apollo 11 moon landing video and the “disappearance” of 400 kilograms of lunar rocks collected during Apollo missions. How can 400 kilograms of lunar rocks just disappear lunar rocks are not things you just…

A National Geographic survey states that 77% of the population believe that aliens exist and could have visited the Earth. Over “80 million Americans, or 36% of the population, believe UFOs are real” (Live Science Staff). 68 years ago the nation was captivated by supposed reports that a UFO crashed on a ranch in Roswell, New Mexico. This subject has always been debated between the military and the public for years. In 1997 “the military released a 231 page report [hoping that all the rumors would stop]” (Peyser 1). Yet, the public still doubt the truth of the military report about the Roswell incident because there were several different stories that happened. I believe that a UFO could have landed, but that will never know the truth given…

For centuries, scientists, ecologists, politicians, and common people around the world have discussed the subject of the unidentified flying objects (UFO). It seems paradoxical, but the main question of their discussion concerns existence or non-existence of the UFO itself. The most popular and appealing notion about the UFO is the extraterrestrial hypothesis. The hypothesis implies that there are intelligent beings from other planets visiting Earth, aliens. Although some people…
