Alexander W. Mary's Informative Speech
Britain's Prince William and his wife Kate have named their new baby boy George Alexander Louis, Kensington Palace announced on Wednesday.

"The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge," the palace said in a statement.

The royal couple emerged from St. Mary's hospital Tuesday afternoon with their swaddled newborn son as cheers erupted from the crowd assembled outside.

"He's got a good pair of lungs on him, that's for sure," William also told the assembled media on Tuesday. After returning to the hospital and grabbing a car seat, the couple situated the baby and Prince William drove them home to Kensington Palace.

For now, the baby is expected to stay out of the spotlight. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to soon choose a photographer for the baby's first official portrait.

This was posted on Their Royal Highnesses' official website and across our social media channels. Following Royal tradition, the official announcement was also taken from the hospital and driven to Buckingham Palace before being placed on an easel in the forecourt of the Palace for the public to view for 24 hours.
