Alex Rider Analysis
Alex Rider is an orphan because his parents died when he was a baby a couple weeks after he was born. The fourteen year old boy was taken care of his uncle but he also died recently so he is all alone. Now he has to take over Ian Rider’s mission and join MI6. He has all the skills because his father’s brother was secretly training him. Alex is athletic, strong , loyal, hardworking ,courageous, and etc. He has short brown hair and dull brown eyes and tall for his age. He is strong because he was able to hold himself when he jumped from the fifteenth floor of the “bank” . He is loyal and hardworking because even though he could of just escaped from Sayle’s company and go home , he continued his mission . He is courageous because he wasn’t scared to stand up to Sayle or Blunt . Last but not at least he is observant because he always analyzes every single thing that happens during the book.
Indeed there were many intriguing events and actions during this part of Alex’s life . First of all he had to deal with his uncle’s death which was

Some people think he is amazing and like there’s no one else like him that has all those talents and characteristics. For example Blunt, one of the guys that worked with his father said “You’ve already shown yourself extraordinary, brave and resourceful.” When Alex climbed out of the fifteenth floor window of the “ Royal & General bank “. But other think he is like a little devil, because he was capable of destroying their evil plans. For instance right before Sayle left to achieve his evil plan of killing every single kid in England ,because he was bullied at school. Herod told Alex “ I’d like to watch you die” which is a really crazy and disrespectful thing to say to a 14 year old . He also told one of his assistants “....Then come back and kill the boy. Make it slow. Make it painful.” and this is just beyond all the limits of extreme

Alex is fourteen years old when he learns that his Uncle has died in a car accident. He finds this odd as he knows his Uncle to be a predictable character who is generally very careful. Alex’s Uncle is a banker and he therefore feels very suspicious of his death. As he is the only living relative, he cannot talk to any other family about the way he is feeling.…

On February 2nd, Gwynedd Mercy University held an event in the Julia Ball Auditorium featuring Leslie Burrs in the Blue Harlem Project. Featured was the University’s choral ensemble, the Voices of Gwynedd, combined with phenomenal Jazz musicians to celebrate and honor Black History Month. Each artist performed with their own style which really added to the diversity of the event. The program consisted of eight compositions all composed by Leslie Savoy Burrs himself. Each one of these pieces reflects his collaborations with eminent American/African American artists in the fields of literature, music, art, and psychology.…

From the second Alex arrived at the academy he thought something was weird or different, but couldn't place it. He notices that some kids have already started acting like scholars instead of juvenile delinquents. He did however notice one person different than all the other boys, James Sprintz. James seemed to be the only boy not "brain-washed" that Alex met. Alex and James became close friends at their time at Point Blanc, skipping classes and doing stuff that was expetc…

In this book, the main character had to go through a lot of internal and external conflicts throughout the book. Some of the internal conflicts the main character, Alex, had to face include keeping his mental strength that allowed him and his two sisters to stay alive. Some external conflicts include how Alex had to deal with his two sisters and make them do what he says since he was the next in charge of the family after their parents are gone and his older brother, Carlos, in the marines. I personally dont like the ending of the book. Why does Alex sister, Brianna, have to die? My favorite character in this book is Kevin. Even though Kevin died at a part in this book, he was a thoughtful person for Alex. Kevin always gave Alex food that he didnt need and helped him get one more bag of food at the food line every morning. After reading this book, I learned that making more friends will make a lot of difference once you are stuck in a difficult situation. I will recommend this book to any people that are interested in catastrophic situation.…

In the first book, Alex was lured by Blunt, the taskmaster of MI6, the spy agency, and Mrs. Jones, his assistant, into avenging his uncle’s murder. When he’d turned them down, they’d blackmailed him by telling him they would send him away to foster care instead of staying with Jack Starbright, his live-in keeper. Alex had reluctantly gone along with the opportunity to go on a mission. After a few weeks of intensive training, Alex went out into the field and proved himself to be a natural spy and survivor. After that mission, though, Alex told Blunt and Mrs. Jones that he never wanted to be a spy again.…

    6. Alexie writes very informally and very casually, which is suitable because he follows the format of a diary. As readers, we are inside of Junior's mind, so we experience his real self, and the self that he presents to others. There are several times throughout Junior’s narration where he will ask the reader a direct question. When talking about the dentist who pulled out ten of his teeth in one day he says, “What a bastard, huh?…

I really enjoyed Anthony’s Lane review of “Get Out,” starting from where he talks about Chris encountering when he first meets Rose’s parents. When Chris and Dane (Rose’s dad) have a one-one conversation, Dane begins by justifying how bad it must look to Chris to be a white family with a black groundskeeper and a black house cleaning and ends the conversation by saying how he would have voted for Obama in 3rd term if he could. In the review, Anthony Lane writes, “What we have here, in other words, is the spectacle, at once touching and comical, of good liberals falling over themselves to prove their moral credentials.” I think this quote is really funny and 100% true because of my experience growing up in the South around a majority of white people. White liberals find it absolutely necessary to reinsure…

“Aria,” by Richard Rodriguez, took us threw his life of on how he learned the English language and what he lost or gained from it. At the beginning of the article he states that the bilingual education takes a great deal away from students that are in his place by not being taught in their family’s language. How he uses his own life as an argument against this statement, by pointing out specific events that are related to the argument. That these people lose some amount of “individuality” by joking into the public society. Through the many events in his life that he went threw in order to obtain the English language. The happiest day of Alex’s childhood was when he received so many N64 games for his Nintendo 64. He said, “When I saw my games, I almost blacked out and died.” I couldn’t help but laugh at his statement. The saddest day of his childhood was when he was in preschool and his class would count up to the 100th day of school. On the 100th day, they were supposed to have a party. Well on the day of the party, his mom didn’t let him go to school and in stead he stayed at his great grandmother’s house, which in fact was his least favorite place to be. His first experience with death is finding out that his cousin passed away. Alex said, “I didn’t really know what I felt or how to feel. I really didn’t have a close relationship with my cousin and even though he was older than me, I feel as if…
