Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations. An individual going through a journey will eventually face many challenges, but by perseverance everything reaches its target. Especially in the adolescent ages, it is natural to have obstacles towards them. The problems that mostly occurs with them are, relationships with others or choosing a pathway for their future. Without any perserverance going through an individual, sooner or later the hard way comes over. The book ALEK, written by Alek Wek introduces a challenging time for her, to than a great success that impacted her. York Region District School Board should accept the book ALEK in its curriculum because, it shows that having perseverance will make a smooth path towards the future. Along
