Airsoft Lab Report
Purpose: The purpose of this lab was to find out who could shoot the gun the accurate or precise.
Hypothesis: If the shooter is more experienced in shooting, then the BBs would be more accurate and precise.
Materials:
KWC S&W 1911 45 caliber Airsoft gun
Crosman Sticky Target
Goggles
BBs for gun
Ruler
Procedure:
1. Ask for 4 volunteers to do this experiment.
2. Load the Airsoft gun with BBs.
3. Ask volunteers to put on goggles in case of ricochet and show them how to pull back the barrel.
4. Tell them to shoot once, then wait till results are recorded, then shoot again. (Total shots: 5)
5. Tell volunteers to keep gun pointed down after shooting.
6. Set up the Sticky target.
7. After each shot, go up to the target and, using the ruler, measure how far the BB is from the center of the target and record results.(The lower the number, the more accurate.)

Conclusion:
This lab was done so that we could see the differences between experienced and inexperienced shooters. The results of this lab support my hypothesis correct, showing that Matthew, being the most experienced of the four volunteers, shot the most accurate and precise. However, I believe that if someone that was inexperienced, but lucky enough to somehow get 4 bulls-eyes, then it would have proven my hypothesis false. Other factors could also have changed the outcome of this experiment, such as the size of the target, a different gun, the weight of the gun, the distance from the target, the aiming

Then I would explain that his target is below the surface of the lake and that by firing a steady stream of rounds at it, we might be able to hit it. (Well, this probably will not happen as anything that is covered by 4feet or more of water is fairly safe from being struck by conventional bullets.) While he is happily firing away at the target, I would direct his attention to the circular ripples on the surface of the target area being created by the impact of the .50 caliber slugs striking the water’s surface in a steady stream, the spacing between them, and then mention how the spacing relates to the frequency to the impacts. I would also say that since the bullets were being fired at a steady rate, that we could say that they were fired in an analog fashion.…

Finally, clay pigeons are the flying targets that shooters aim to hit. Clay pigeons look like a small orange Frisbee except made of clay. Trapshooting is scored by how many clay pigeons are hit out of the fifty that are shot out of the trap house. Generally a good score for an average shooter is around forty, the more experienced and advanced shooters may do…

It's Christmas 2014, my Dad and I went to go shooting with my Cousins, my Uncle, and my Grandpa. He brought his AR (Assault Rifle), .45, .09, and his AS 12 gauge (Assault Shotgun). I brought my BB gun too. The boys shot off a couple of rounds with the .45, the .09, and the AR. Grandpa taught me how to shoot a BB gun first. Then my Dad let me shoot the .09. The .09 goes like this BAM…… BAM…….. BAM it is semi automatic, that means it is not rapid fire. I was pretty good with the .09. Next I used the .45 and it went all downhill from there. The .45 almost flew out of my hand, it went BAM… BAM… BAM... BAM, it had a good kickback to it. The .45 also was a semi automatic.…

A great way to control your shooting accuracy in lacrosse is with hand positioning. Different hand positioning creates different angles, arcs, power and directions the ball can go. What I am trying to figure out is, how much does your accuracy change when your hands are in different positions on the lacrosse stick while you are shooting into a lacrosse net and which is the most accurate position? To create different angles, arcs, different powers and directions you will need to move your hands throughout the stick to find the right position.…

It is the second amendment for the right to bear arms. Every different state decides if people have the right to carry a concealed weapon. Federal gun control laws also affect the implication of the states laws. People are held to gunpoint nearly every day in big cities like Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. If this happens to someone, they should have the right to defend themselves and match the power. People just need to make the right choices with that weapon. Concealed weapons should be legal so one can feel safe, and be safe when an attack approaches.…

The purpose of this lab is to study the properties of projectile motion. From the motion of a steel ball projected horizontally, the initial velocity of the ball can be determined from the measured range. For a given initial velocity, the projectile range will be measured for various initial angles, and also calculated by applying the theory for motion with constant acceleration. For further background information, refer to the sections in your textbook on projectile motion and motion with constant acceleration.…
