Mobile phones are one of the most remarkable inventions of the twentieth century, and they are dramatically changing the way people contact with each other. They can be devices that give us more convenient, but cause us some trouble. For these reasons, we need to point out the mobile phones offer both advantages and disadvantages.
To begin with the advantages, mobile phones are placing an important part in our life because of its convenience in communicating and relaxing. Today, mobile phones have become popular for everyone, so you can use them to communicate with your family or your friend no matter where you are. For example, when you are on a vacation with your family, you can call and chat with your friend, or share the photos easily. It may be the main reason why most people today choose to own mobile phones. Moreover, after hard working or studying days, you can relax with mobile phone applications such as playing games, listening to music, or reading books.
Although it is true that people are getting a number of advantages of mobile phones, they have some negative impacts. First of all, the radiation from mobile phone can be the cause of cancer. Recently, the scientists of WHO have found the link between using mobile phones and cancer. They determined that people who spend more than an hour a day talking on mobile phones are almost a third more at risk of developing a rare form of cancer. In addition, mobile phones reduce our privacy. For example, someone’s position can be found by satellites or somebody can bug your phone calls.
To conclude, mobile phones include both advantages and disadvantages, so we must use our mobile phones carefully. Therefore, controlled usage is the best solution to limit the harmful of mobile phones.
