Actions Speak Louder Than Words
“Actions speak louder than words” is an old proverb with a deep hidden meaning inside. If looked through, it is clear that deeds can show more than what you say as not deliberately they give a true picture of one’s intentions. An action defines a person as people act upon their values. Action can also reveal a person’s desire, motivation and meanings. You can say a thing a million times but unless you show it, it cannot be proved.
Many great personalities of history have shown their success by their actions, it is deeds that made great rulers part of the universal history, as Benjamin Franklin himself says, “Well-done is better than well said.” Precious time must be converted into moments of action for real success in life because idle talk can lead one nowhere.
In the same way if one says something and does something else, it is hi actions that will show the true intention behind words. Actions build up an image of what a person really is and outline his actual thoughts and aims. Actions can tell more than what a person actually says, they can be judged while words cannot. Jane Austin says, “It isn’t what we say or think that defines us, but what we do.”
However even a child needs an example in his life in order to know what to do. What behavior to have, and how to face difficulties. He needs to learn how to solve problems and how to cope with them and it is only others actions that can give him guidance throughout.
The Prophet (SAW) himself was the best and most important symbol for mankind. By using his actions more than his words he served as the best instructor for mankind.
As a result, it is actions that give a person his character and shows what he really is. Without them is almost impossible to judge a person’s true aim and intention.

People often have thoughts about other people having more enviable achievements than themselves do, but even if they think about doing things to change, their lack of perseverance still causes a poor outcome next time. Benjamin Franklin is one of the best example of a successful image throughout the history. Although having no eminent family background, he had himself work-hard to become a admirable person, one of the Founding Fathers of United States. Everyone fairly has 24 hours per day, yet he was able to surpass so many people in different realms. Benjamin Franklin had been through innumerable setbacks in his entire life, but other than making up excuses for his previous failures, on the other hand, Benjamin Franklin faced, understood,…

“Some of the most powerful speeches I have given have been delivered in the dedicated silence of my actions.” –Steve Maraboli. For example, if you say some words, you can say other words, but when you have made actions, you can not change them. Actions are influential to handle than just some simple words. Anyone can say something rather than do the actions. By the behavior you have, you might make a mistake, which will lead you to consequences. That mistake that you’ve done can not change. Words are just a speech of sound that can be exchanged.…

Allowing a child to explore its environment, helps to give the child confidence, and encourages self awareness. We can gauge a child’s level of development by providing activities for the child to take part in as well as free play to watch their social and communicative skills. There were several limitations that challenge this study. First, the lack of participants would have produced a lacklustre depiction of actual perception on intentional action if not for a bigger sample size. Lastly, the questions in this research could have been more direct in resolving the notion of “Sacrifice of the many – for the greater good” – as such it might be indicative of not supporting a…

Actions are louder than words; which is how the common phrase goes. Except, that wasn’t true in my case. I am not a person who looks for fights or finds reasons to get outraged. I usually have a strong opinion about things, but I’m not one to usually voice them for all to hear either. There have definitely been times where I kick myself for not speaking up or taking a stand but I’d rather regret the few times I didn’t say anything then having to back up my opinions with actions. Actions can send a message fast, but words will always leave a stronger impression and leave you looking like the bigger person.…

With the birth of my first child, I realized that it's necessary not just to tell the child what to do right or wrong. I saw that words not confirmed by their own examples are empty. That's why everything I want to teach my child I do myself. I stopped smoking and drinking alcohol, constantly watching TV and sitting in social networks. Instead, I go in for sports, talk a lot with my children about life and the world, do business and study a lot. I see how my own example helps my son develop and become stronger, smarter and better every day. He easily overcomes difficulties in learning and sports, because he sees that I overcome them, too, and I'm good at…

By living in our own skin, we have a skewed view on the world. We judge ourselves by our intentions, but others by their actions; therefore, we only see through the lens of what we are trying to do, and not through the lens of what we actually do. We avoid the unpleasantness of failure by retreating to our so-called good intentions even though actions speak louder than words. People should be judged according to the results of their motivations because if their intentions were good their actions would support it.…
