Actions Speak Louder Than Words.
You might be surprised when you treat someone well that they may end up being a life long friend. The way you treat people has a bigger affect on people than words because actions speak louder than words, treat others as you would like to be treated, and people will never forget how you made them feel.
Often, doing something is more powerful than saying it, mostly known as actions speak louder than words. Most people can only remember the things you do for them, not what you say. If you say that you will help out around the house no one will notice anything until you actually do something. One thing I like to do is to make an effort to reach out to underclassmen to show them that older students can be pleasant to younger ones. Another example of treating people well other than just saying it is, treating others the way you want to be treated.
One example of treating others the way you want to be treated is if you are nice to someone in the first place they will be nice back to you. On the first day of school I saw one of the new students looking lost and I decided to go talk to them and now we are great friends, just because I thought she looked like she needed help. When we have reunions with my mom’s family, I have a few cousins that are close to my age and I always make sure to make them feel welcome because I know that is what I would want. Another example of treating people well other than just saying it is, people will never forget how you made them feel.

Why did you do this?” and Katie said, “ ‘Cause I can.” Katie had recently had her own scare with a possible

In Paul Ford’s, “How to Be Polite,” he discusses the lessons he has learned over the years on how to be an undeniably pleasant person. He gives examples from times throughout his life where kindness has come into play. Ford shares experiences from high school, where politeness went unnoticed and, for the most part, unrewarded. However, later in life kindness helped him in the workplace and in social scenes. He also mentions that politeness has helped him look at people in a vulnerable way, that each and every one of them has problems that are unknown to others.…

“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.” (Princess Diana) Princess Diana who was the princess of England in the 1990s states that we should do good for others without expecting anything out of it. Growing up, my parents pushed me to be the best I could be. They let me make mistakes and used them as teachable moments. They taught me the importance of work ethic, reliability, and trustworthiness. Being reliable and trustworthy is important in both personal and work relationships. They also taught me to be kind. However, as soon as I got into college, I realized that respect is also something that I have to earn from others, which means that I not only have to get involved into them, but also have to be trustworthy to them, and that is how a friendship is established. Gradually, I find that people's feelings are all tied with their honor, self worth, status and ideas. If we want someone to treat us a certain way, we have to treat them the same way. As my mom says "treat others the way you want to be treated", I keep those words in the deepest part of my heart and remind myself to have good manners all the time to everyone that I meet in my life. For example, I show my respect to my elders by always offering help by any means possible, always saying ‘please’, ‘thank you’ whenever it is needed.…
