While there are some who would claim that no human study has been conducted yet for the healthy benefits of consuming acai berries, nobody can argue as well that it has adverse effects on one’s body. Acai berry detox is the latest innovation in effective weight loss and, at the same time, efficient colon cleanse. Here’s the lowdown on acai and colon cleanse and how consuming the little, grape-like fruit can significantly alter your health.
Acai berries are used to be grown and manually harvested in the rich rainforests of South and Central America. Today, they are also planted and harvested in the US, and largely sold in the market either in its natural fruit form, packed in a juice, or as a supplement (particularly dubbed a colon cleansing product). The fruit is a predominant part of the Brazilian diet, and since its discovery for its rich nutrient content, highlighted by the media, it has also become an essential part of the American diet, particularly for those in the colon cleanse weight loss community.
