As the 16th president of the United States, his personality embodied American values. He was a self-made man who remade himself to be the ideal American. He had an unusual and difficult life. He persevered by having a personality.

Washington referred to Abraham Lincoln as decent, kind, sensitive, compassionate, honest, and empathetic. He was known as Honest Abe. He was also called easy going, energetic, patient, guarded.

He was the one that introduced the measures that resulted in the abolition of slavery! He also became famous when he was assassinated on April 15, 1865. He had the largest funeral in nations history. On his grave, underneath his name, they put "Honest Abe" to remember
