The eighteen chapter of Genesis contracts with the nineteenth, the former depicting Abraham’s tender, sensitive fellowship with his guests; the latter, God’s awesome judgement and violet destruction of wicked Sodom. 2. Describe the typical hospitality displayed in Genesis 18 during this time.(p.195)
Warmly welcome was beyond question; mor than once we had been the benefactors of the warm hospitality of the Ta’amri Bedouin who roam these hills. After the usual introductions and greetings we were inivited into the large section of the tent where other men were seated on a large, ornate rug.
