About Saral Rozgar
Saral Rozgar
‘Saral Rozgar’ is a unique Mobile job marketplace that helps blue collared and entry level job seekers to connect mainstream employers anywhere in India via mobile in their own language in an affordable manner.

Saral Rozgar is an inclusive and flexible innovation incubated at the mobility division of Tech
Mahindra and is now a part of the Growth Factories.

As per CII only 14% of the 500 million Indian workforce accounts for the formal sector and the remaining 86% are part of the unorganized sector. Nearly 12 million people join the workforce every year. Over the next two decades, India is estimated to add 25% to the world’s workforce.

Saral Rozgar is targeted towards job-seekers who are below the graduate level. With the aim of reducing the socio-economic imbalance and bridging the digital divide, the objective was to create a common pool of jobs and job providers. In India, job seekers below the graduate level rely on unstructured sources to seek jobs. While the Central government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative aims to make India a manufacturing hub by 2020, and with the Digital India initiative in full stride, we at Tech Mahindra strive to bridge the communication gap between the blue collared job seeker and provider by creating a unique simple, easily accessible, and low-cost nation-wide mobile job marketplace. The service facilitates easy access to the plethora of jobs and candidates from anywhere in India via mobile.

Job-seekers can now easily access the service by buying the Saral Rozgar card for Rs. 50 and registering through a simple voice call, in the preferred language, by dialing 1860-180-1100 from anywhere in India. We also jobseekers to create their first ever resumes online and therefore, connecting them to potential corporate and mainstream employers.

Additionally, for employers, there is no structured database of blue-collared workforce.

The recruitment landscape in the Philippines is proven to be a rolling one. Introduction of Internet and economic conditions redefined this landscape and gave birth for online recruitment industry. Jobstreet.com Philippines Inc. is one of those businesses that thrived from the changes of recruitment capabilities. Jobstreet.com Philippines Inc. began in 1999 with a noble mission of Improving Lives Through Better Careers. With this mission in mind, the company aimed to provide quality service for the jobseeker segment of the industry. Through the years, the company gained positive reputation in the market and as a result, the company is continuously hailed as the No.1 Jobsite in the Philippines with most job postings, most jobseeker database and most number of employers or recruiters. However, being the market leader in the industry is never an impediment to limit marketing efforts but a lead to improve more and maintain its current standing. Because of this, the proponents propose this service plan with the goals of increasing usage, increasing or expanding market share and providing additional revenues. To make these goals attainable, the proponents would like to implement several tactics, strategies and programs for the company as Service Development Programs (JobStreet.com campus Webpage Enhancement, Scholarship Integration Movement, JobStreet.com.Privilege.Career Card and 65K Challenge) and corresponding advertising strategies for each programs.…

While the Indian economy is showing a steady progress, the irony is that the labour market, which is a key factor in attaining this progress is not partaking in this progress. Neither is the rate of employment, which is not in accord with the increasing working age population, nor do the wages match the inflation rate. The present situation of the Indian labour sector could be attributed to a lot of factors like the boom and bust and the integration of the world economy, but the major player is the culture that imbues the labour markets. This culture, which we refer to here, is a result of the complex and half-baked laws that control the labour market in India.…
