Abortion is a crime which murders children and destroys the sense of mercy among people. Medically, abortion means ending a pregnancy before the embryo or fetus can survive on its own (Levy, Martin R, 1988). Nowadays, there are many controversial arguments about the hot topic: “Should abortion be banned all over the world?” In fact, abortion is a ferocity which is so dangerous and painful that it ruins the mothers’ health in both physical and psychology. Therefore, abortion should be banned all over the world in order to keep the humane world.
First, abortion has many bad effects on the mothers’ physical health. Women who have had abortion have many potential complications, such as: infection, excessive bleeding, etc and even die. In a recent landmark study, Abortion and Other Pregnancy-Related Risk Factors in Female Breast Cancer (London, 2001), scientists have shown that women who have had an abortion up to twice as likely to suffer from breast cancer. Another study found that lacerations occurred in 22% of aborted women (www.abortionfacts.com). Moreover, abortion also has many other risks. Cervical damage from

Abortion is the deliberate killing of the weakest and most defenseless among us. Unfortunately, the last few decades, the practice has been recognized as a fundamental human right. The act of abortion should be illegal. We cannot keep murdering innocent lives, we cannot keep telling society that it is within their power or right and we cannot keep ignoring the issue.-(parallelism).…

Women who have had abortions suffer an increased risk of anxiety, depression, and suicide. A study published in a recent edition of the Journal of Anxiety Disorders found that women who aborted their unintended pregnancies were 30 percent more likely to subsequently report all the symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder than those women who had carried their unintended pregnancies to term. A study of a state-funded medical insurance program in California published in the American Journal of Orthopsychiatry in 2002 showed that the rate of mental health claims for women who aborted was 17 percent higher than those who had carried their children to term. And, according to a 1996 article in the British Medical Journal and a 2002 article in the Southern Medical Journal, the risk of death from suicide is two to six times higher for women who have had abortions when compared, again, with women who have given birth.…

The word “positive” is both feared and revered by women around the globe. A simple plus sign on a pregnancy test can be cause for elation or terror. Nearly half of pregnancies among American women are unintended, and four in 10 of these are terminated by abortion (Finer and Henshaw 2001). Abortion, legalized in 1973 by the Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, is defined by the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of Law as the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus. Abortion is an inhumane, immoral way of avoiding parenthood. It is easy to understand how a woman with an unintended pregnancy may feel cornered, but an abortion should be on the list of alternatives never considered. Adoption provides a morally sound, healthy, means of dealing with an unwanted pregnancy while enabling a couple who, by their own means may not be able to conceive their own child, become a family.…

Abortion is a very controversial subject in today’s society, and although it is now legal in most Western countries, there are as many viewpoints and arguments opposing abortion as there are in favour of it. Many questions must be asked when contemplating abortion; ‘When does a human life begin?’ ‘At what point is the foetus morally equal to us?’ and ‘Does the mother have the right to choose to end the life of her unborn child?’ are a few of the major issues which arise.…

Induced abortion is one of today’s most intense issues. Modern medical techniques have made induced abortions simpler and less dangerous. There are also preventions and ways not to get pregnant, so that abortion is not a choice that one has to make. In industrialized world, abortion is not a criminal offence until a series of law against abortion were passed during the nineteenth century. The proponent prohibition of abortion globally has stressed the medical dangers of abortion. Moreover, it is also argued that fetuses are human beings. Deliberate abortion is therefore considered a form of homicide crime (……..). In popular rhetoric in the USA, abortion issue is considered as a purely women’s right that helps them in maintaining their bodies. Therefore, if women possess the moral right to abort their unwanted pregnancies, the law should not prohibit them from practicing the act of abortion. However, the arguments for this right cannot entirely solve the moral issue of abortion. It is one thing to have a right and another to morally justify when exercising that right. Since fetuses are considered to have equal rights to life like any other person, women’s right to abortion should therefore be exercised only on extreme…
