Abortion Transition Religious
Abortion No women can call herself free who does not have control over her own body. Abortion has become a social issue that hits sensitive nerves due to the opponents of abortion beliefs and morals. One is which the contemplation whether or not a baby is considered a living human at the point of conception when a fathers sperm attaches itself to a mothers egg or at the point when the fetus develops a heart, brain, hands, feet and such. Prochoice protest the privacy rights of a women who does not want a child do to a substantial amount of reasons such a rape, problems with the baby, problems with the mom due to the baby and an unwanted pregnancy. People who are pro-choice argue that religion is the only key factor why abortion would be outlawed because what gives the government or other opponents of abortion the right to make a woman bare a child that would not be wanted. Women need to understand that this choice they make (whether or not they want a child) is their own personal choice no one else can put their religious or moral values on someone who does not agree with them.
Opponents of abortion believe that a woman is carrying a human life at the point of conception. Therefore abortion is viewed as killing a gift from god. Some opponents are more extreme than others such as going far enough to say that even rape victims should not be allowed to abort their child (if they want), because every child is a gift and should not be terminated. Others who are against abortion because “the Bible says so” the Bible does not clearly condemn abortion it only emphasizes the value of a human life. Genesis 1:27 states “God created man in his own image” or in the Ten Commandments “Thou shall not kill” pro-life opponents would argue what gives man the right to end what our creator is giving us, but all this is only based on religious views not on woman’s rights in the governmental system. “The anti-abortion position is usually based on religious beliefs and threatens the

Personally, I think that any form of abortion is tantamount to murder, and should never be permitted. This article only brings to my attention that women who wish to have abortions are only concerned for themselves, as the argument is based upon the health of the woman. Although the author’s argument may be valid concerning some facets of the issue, I believe the focus of the subject should shift from the mother to the living creature inside and its right to…

Hillary Clinton once said, "I have met thousands and thousands of pro-choice men and women. I have never met anyone who is pro-abortion." This means that even though pro-choice people don’t want to completely rid the world of abortion, they still don’t necessarily like it. Morally, abortion is wrong but at the same time the choice should still be available to those who choose not to be pregnant in their present moment in time. It is a right to be able to choose for yourself what you want to with your life, and that’s what choosing to have an abortion is. The right to your choice should not be able to be taken away by strict enforcers of The Bible or morality. Before abortion can be completely stopped all factors must be considered because every person and their story is different; so knowing why every person would want an abortion is near impossible. It’s easy to simply declare abortion wrong and move on without giving it any thought. For these reason the option of abortion should be left open because ultimately opinions come into play on what may be right and wrong.…

The process of abortion involves terminating a pregnancy by the removing or expelling of a foetus or embryo from the uterus. A lot of women give reasons like being raped, incest, financial difficulty and a controversial one is if the child has a disability or defect. However the fact remains that abortion is a very controversial topic because its frequency of occurrence around the world, legal consequences, and its cultural and religious status varies extensively in different regions of the world especially in Africa and the United States of America. There are many high-profile groups that champion either pro-choice or pro-life and this is well documented between Democrats and Republicans. Such organizations bring up a host of issues to further their agenda. In the United States, pro-life groups favour greater legal restrictions on abortion, or even the complete criminalization of it. Their argument is that a human foetus is a human being with a right to live, and so abortion is equal to murder. In contrast, pro-choice groups argue that a woman has certain reproductive rights, especially the choice on whether or not to carry a pregnancy to term.…

Pro-choice activists argue that abortion is a choice that should be decided by each individual. These pro-choice activists say that abortion is not considered murder because the fetus is not yet fully human. Therefore, abortion is not insubordinate against God. Abortion should be the woman’s choice because it is her body regardless of the reason for the abortion. Adoption is an option some women choose, many women do not want to suffer the emotional trauma of pregnancy and labor for a child that is not going to be theirs. Therefore, laws should remain the way they are to protect a woman’s right to chose whether to abort the child or not.…

There are two types of people that speak out against abortion. The first is the pro-lifers; they believe that abortions should be illegal. “Pro-lifers sometimes define abortion as an intentional interruption of the development process, at any time from conception to birth” (287). They believe that women should not be having sex unless they are prepared for the consequences and that pregnancy is a natural outcome of sex. Pro-choice has a different view to this whole abortion controversy. “Pro-choice believes that it is the individual’s right to have an abortion if they want to and that no one should interfere with that right. Pro-Choice also believes that it is the moral right for a person to be able to control their own body whether it is having a baby or destroying it. They feel it is the woman’s right to be able to do what she wants with herself and what she has…
