Abigail's Dying: A Short Story
At the age of 9, Abigail was left behind by her parents. They decided that they no longer wanted a daughter and dropped her off in a random abandoned house in Slaughterville, Oklahoma. As months passed by Abigail thought daily about the reason why her parents left her and if there was a possibility of them coming back, but they never did. Abigail began to grow hate towards the two people that brought her into this world.
8 years passed and Abigail lived a reckless life; she would invite people over to keep her company but they never saw the light again. She thought that if she let the people leave, they would never come back so she would hurt them the way her parents hurt her. You could say she had trust issues that messed her up as a person.
A few days passed and Abigail decided to take a walk around town in Slaughterville, Oklahoma. As she walks, she notices a missing person sheet and realizes it’s one of the many people that have stayed over with her.
