Aam Aadmi vs Corruption
Three cheers for Aam Admi… but where is he? …what all I can see around is… Bekar Admi and Khas AdmI
Of late, it has become sort of fashionable to use the word Aam Admi for anything and everything. As if, it’s a coinage with a proverbial strength. It can justify all your governance and mis-governance. It can win you elections. It can make you look like a dedicated fighter for a cause. It can make you feel like a protector or a big messiah ..One simple word and so much of utilities , if you know how and where to use it .So for anything, our govt., oppositions and for that matter any or many in politics or media would talk about the proverbial Aam admi.
Petrol price hike ? Aam admi is talked about.
Power tariff increases….Again Aam admi is the centre of discussions.
Milk price hike….what will happen to Aam Admi?
Fight against corruption…naturally to save the Aam Admi
Inflation, inflation, inflation…how will the Aam admi live ?... The link goes on and on… Now, who is this Aam admi? What is shape and size?
Where he lives and what he does?
Why the whole nation is busy talking about him every now and then…for anything and everything? A little groping…and I discovered a different truth, that I still think may not match to the perceptual imagery of Aam admi …as many may tend to see. A little insightful, I tried to see the image of Aam admi in my mind’s eye, I found something more revealing…though perplexing. In a 120 crore population , can you guess how many are Aam admis ?Those who are hard hit by inflation and things like that.?
60 crore.? 80 crore? 100 crore? Closer to that? NO. think again. You may soon see a different reality. A shocking reality! Yes, there you are. If you, by chance, tend to think that the teeming, suffering millions in any dark corner of our country are also Aam admis …think again!!. These 70 to 80% of the population …say about 80 to 90 crore people… I call them Bekar Aadmi. Yes, make no mistake. I repeat

In 1995, Paul Edwards a philosopher formed the “Alzheimer’s Argument Against the Soul.” He used the Example of a kind and generous lady who often helping others, was drastically affected by the disease of Alzheimer's. Edward states, “All her elegance was gone. She no longer recognized her children, and then in the advanced stage, became extremely aggressive. She who always helped others and was kind to others suddenly started to beat up other elderly patients.” Paul Edwards presentation disproves the soul's separation from the brain. For when her Alzheimer's struck, not only did her brain began to slowly deteriorate, but along with her intelligence, memory, and personality. The Philosopher argues that the “Lady was kind when her brain…

Animism is a unique concept holds strong to the belief that all moving objects hold within them, animated spirits that caused their mobility (Carlson, 2). This perception of life can be seen from the earliest of times. Animism was centralized around the idea that there was a purpose to every movement generated by a spirit. This spirit within allowed people to achieve their movement throughout their lifetime. They were able to travel by means of the spirit that guided from within. The question, though, was if this spirit were in control of our bodies, was it a physical being or hidden within (Carlson 2).…

The fact that Lowe is a religious scholar in Asian studies and that he personally experienced Adidam as an insider makes a compelling case against Adidam. He attests to the brilliance and originality of Adi Da, but expresses his beliefs that Adi Da did probably engage in the abuse that he was accused of. However, what is important to note is that Lowe’s essay is not, and was not intended to be a scholarly source, despite his academic background, and there were never any encounters from which he personally witnessed himself that could incriminate Adi Da. The beliefs he expressed were merely speculation and came from secondary sources. In addition, the justification Adidam makes regarding the interpretation of practices still stands. The boundary for determining abuse, immorality and altogether questionable behaviour is an ambiguous one. It is difficult to remove one’s self from the standards our culture holds in order to ascertain a conclusion of whether or not Adi Da is the exploitative and cruel person he is accused of…

Since mindfulness, as Gudykunst (2005) argues, requires the communicators to be conscious of it, Miller and Samp (2007) then question the indicators of mindfulness. This makes individuals wonder how mindfulness stands on a continuum. This is similar to past critique back made by Yoshitake (2002) who argues that AUM overstresses the significance of mindfulness and consciousness. If one has never learned about the theory or related topics, it is unsure whether he is conscious of the mindfulness concept. This shows that the theory should work on giving a better definition of mindfulness and the ways it works on a continuum, from being unmindful to being fully…

Adab means discipline and training. It also detonates the good breeding and refinement that results from training, so that a person who behaves badly is “without abad” (de adab). Adab is the respect or deference one properly formed and trained shows to those who deserve it. The term was first encountered by the Western visitor to South Asia in its form as a greeting: “Adab!” – “my respects!” In other contexts, the plural of this form generally defines rules or codes of behavior. In many modern Muslim languages, adab has come to be used exclusively for literature – a derivation, presumably, from some original sense that literature conveys proper knowledge for the cultivated. This report will strictly concentrate on Adab as a form of literature.…
