A Work In Progress Analysis
Challenges that made people overcome their obstacles is by living through the adversity that was going on. People can always overcome an obstacle if they just try if they don’t think it’s possible to overcome what they’re living through they can find ways to overcome it. People overcome obstacles by just trying to live with their pain, being creative problem solvers and, to not care what others think. First off, living through adversity is just a way of life in many ways. For example, in the “Dust Bowl’ farmers and citizens just had to live through it. “It became a way of life--- their land: The Dust Bowl.” The “Dust Bowl” is a great example for showing a way to overcome adversity. Showing adversity by this story is a great showing because it actually shows what they had to go through. Another example that shows people that had to live through the adversity is “The Circuit” the children just get used

In “A Work in Progress” she didn’t care what others thought about her. “I refuse to hide something about myself that was true, and I refused to be embarrassed about something so that other people could feel more comfortable.” In “A Work in Progress” Aimee faces tragedy people judged her but she didn’t care what people thought. When Aimee told her dad otherwise her dad was surprised. Aimee told him that she will refuse to be embarrassed. The source “A Young Tinkerer Builds a Windmill, Electrifying a Nation” showed that Mr. Kamkwamba showed everybody wrong by building a windmill. “He stumbled onto a photograph of a windmill donated to the local library and started to build one himself.” Mr. Kamkwamba had his family laughing at him because he wanted to build a windmill. The family was taught wrong because Mr. Kamkwamba succeeded by building a windmill that powered energy. Always believe in yourself even if people mock you. Both Aimee and Mr. Kamkwamba showed that they don’t care if you mock
