A Very Brief Life Of Anne Frank
From living with a star, a sign of being different, to hiding from a war, hearing horrific, mind-altering sounds, Anne Frank lived a dreadfully eventful, heartbreaking, far-from-full, short life. We have hard lives, parents splitting, rough backgrounds, and that is tough, but the what the Jews had to experience and endure was something of another level. Anne Frank was a bright, spunky girl, she experienced multiple changes and experiences in hiding, and she has a legacy. Growing up, Anne was never hungry, she never had to worry about where she was going to sleep, and she had no problems with friends and boys. With an older sister whom always seemed better than her, however, Anne had a competition. It was always Margot this, Margot that, or Anne why did you not do this, or Anne is clumsy, or too outspoken, she felt out of place in her very own life. Life was as good as it could be for her, going to different schools than a non-Jew, having to where a bright yellow sticker so people knew “what she was”, life could not be too perfect. Just when she thought that life was stressful, she realized real quick that she was extremely blessed. …show more content…
They did not go underground, nor did they go far away, they just went to Otto Frank’s (Anne’s father) work. The Secret Annex, was their hide-out house for the war. The Annex was described as this “A room that serves as the Frank family's living room and bedroom. Next door is a smaller room, the bedroom and study of the two young ladies of the family, to the right of the stairs is a windowless washroom, with a link.     She was always afraid of being found in the secret annex. Once again, they were joined by more people. In November 1942, the Franks and Van Pels were joined by Fritz Pfeffer.
