A Soldier's Short Story Never Forget Their Duty
An american could mean so many things, what does it mean to you? Is being an american meaning you are born in the states or is it coming to the states and getting legal document to stay here? To me a american is someone who's not born nor has paper to be here, to me a american is someone who has pride for their country and believes in freedom and equality for everyone no matter what race or religion or back ground they come from.
The pride for their country is one main factor. In the short story “never forget their duty” was a very touching story. The fact this soldier would die showing their pride to their country showed that they knew the true meaning to being an american. What this soldier did was they were captured in north vietnamese
