A Research Paper On Kipland Kinkol
Kipland Kinkel was born on August 30 in 1982. He was born into the home Bill and Faith Kinkel. Less than sixteen years later, Kip kills both of his parents, two students at his school, and injures twenty-six students. A tragic turn of events had caused a young man to murder four people and injure many more. Drugs alter the moods and perceptions of people and sometimes can cause tragic events. In this case, drugs combined with Kip’s odious mind fostered his violent behavior that led to unnecessary deaths and injuries. He stops taking his Prozac and withdrawal effects begin to show. He buys a stolen gun from his friend and the cops came to school looking for the gun and they located it in Kip’s locker. He is arrested and taken to the police station. He is booked and his father came and picked him up and took Kip home. Kip was reportedly worried about his consequences and what would happen. When they got home Kip went upstairs and grabbed a gun and ammunition. He went downstairs and found his father in the kitchen and shot his dad in the back of the head. He proceeded to drag his dad’s body to another room and cover it. His mother arrived home and he went to the garage to meet her. He stated he loved her then shot her six times. He covered her body and then went upstairs and grabbed all of his guns. He prepared his guns and ammunition for the next day, then he went to sleep. The next day he dressed in a trench coat to conceal his weapons. He left his car a couple blocks from school and walked into the building. He walked down the hall towards the cafeteria and shot two students along the way, killing one and injuring the other. Kip entered the cafeteria and opened fire. He killed one student and injured another twenty-five. He was then subdued by studnets before police arrived and arrested him. He was taken to the police station and questioned. Kip confessed and told the police about killing his parents. Upon investigation of the house, the police found the bodies and also bombs that Kip had made. The bomb squad was called and detonated several explosives and found some inactive bombs hidden away. While in custody Kip attempted to kill a police officer by lunging at him with a knife he had hidden in his pants.
