A Comparative Study Of Papa And Apron
This chapter is about how Papa is talking about putting up a fence. He tells Robert that the fences don’t separate the neighbors they connect them. Then Mr. Tanner comes by with Apron. He thanks Robert for what he did the day before with the calf. Today Apron was a lot cleaner than the last time Robert saw Apron with all the slime on himself. Mr. Tanner then gives Robert a pig and names him Pinky. Papa doesn’t want to accept the pig at first, but then they help Mr. Tanner yoke two of his animals. They then reach an agreement, and Robert got his first pig. Next they need to move the corn crib away for the oxen and cows. They use a type of crank thing and the oxen to pull the corn crib away from the other animals. The corn crib is where Pinky
