I liked the DVD better than the written version A Christmas Carol. The reason I liked the DVD better, because it goes into more detail than the party does. Also instead of me having to visualize it myself, then I can just watch the movie. I also do not like to read if I do not have to. For the people who can’t read, the movie is a much better choice for them. In the story and the movie Marley were dead. Scrooge was also very good friends with Marly before he had passed away. Scrooge had also heard voices calling his name,also the first spirit came to his room.
