A Character Analysis Of Donald Trump By James Hamblin
In the first text James Hamblin describes Donald Trump as this master manipulator, that says what people want to hear in order for people to vote for him. He is described as a very masculine man, who people look up to. Donald Trump is an alpha male who shouts, bullies and berates people. James Hamblin goes over to a more comedic way of writing, even though they are facts; He mentions Trump's hair, gives an example by comparing Trump with Putin and what Trump thinks of himself.
Trump is described as a very self-centered individual who craves attention and confirmation that he is the best. For example, by having a giant building with his name written on it.

Politics by Gregory Katz, sarcastic tone and vivid descriptions portray Donald Trump as a selfish human being to manipulate readers he will not be a good president. Katz’s sarcastic and criticizing tone adds to the negative view of Trump presented in this article;“His is clearly a recognized name worldwide, which is not to say it's a beloved one.” Katz then proves this point by quoting individuals from around the world. In the first description of Trump, a woman who lives next to a Trump resort calls Trump a spoiled “strange fish.” She then describes his toddler-like tantrums, causing an image of diaper wearing Trump whining and flopping for what he wants to pop into our heads. Katz’s next proof is a video of Mexican comedians dressed as Donald Trump performing an act written from his statements. The comedians are all wearing fake guts, Neanderthal clothing, and blonde wigs. Katz writes, “It's striking how many people know of him at all,” as if Trump is some new American celebrity who is just now getting attention for his statements. It is almost impossible to not recognize the Trump name. His name is on everything he owns, and he owns buildings, programs, and boats worldwide. I honestly do not think he was trained enough to be climbing Mt. Everest. As an author, he was very detailed and made sure he knew all the facts about the people in the novel. He was also very sympathetic and told about all the guilt he had from the expedition. Krakauer writes, “My actions or failure to act played a direct role in the death of Andy Harris.” (Krakauer 284). He is a very professional writer and really makes you feel a part of the story. His wording was impeccable and I feel like he did not leave out any details. I loved how he was a very honest person while writing which made me have a lot of respect towards him. I relate to his honesty and bluntness. I personally am a blunt person when it comes to telling the truth. I tell it how it is even if it is not the right way to say it. For Krakauer to be able to write this novel after all the stuff he experienced in this disaster is unbelievable. He witnessed some very tragic things and for him to sit down and write it all out shows how determined he was to get the truth out. I honestly believe that he told his part of the story to the best of his ability. I do not think that he could have made it up. He also knew that the other survivors would read this book and would know if he did not tell the story correctly. Since he seemed very loyal I do not think he would have tried to make himself seem different than his real self.
