An estimated 2,973 people were killed in the 9/11 attacks. The death toll at the World Trade Center included 60 police officers and 343 firefighters, 87 passengers aboard American Flight 11, 60 on United Flight 175, and over 2,000 occupants and neighbors of the WTC. The death toll at the Pentagon included 125 people from the Pentagon and 64 passengers on American Flight 77. And 44 people lost their lives on United Flight 93.…
“We love death. The U.S. loves life. That is the difference between us two.” (Osama bin Laden, 2004.) On September 11, 2001, al-Qaeda crashed two airlines loaded with fuel into the world Trade Center in New York city. Killing over 3,000 people; including 400 officers and firefighters, America was under attack. Although Bin Laden didn't personally attacked the US, he organized and finalize the Mujahideen, was the founder of al-Qaeda, and played the role as the mastermind of the 9/11 tragedy.…
Al-Qaeda is the group responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Bin Laden initially denied involvement in the attacks but then eventually admitted that he was involved. US forces found a video tape in a destroyed house in Jalalabad. The video shows that Bin Laden was planning the attacks and that he was responsible. Nearly 10 years later, Bin Laden was killed in Pakistan by Special Forces. Bin Laden was responsible for the 9/11 attacks and was eventually found and killed.…

“I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States...Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people,” (“Hard Facts Hard Truth -Bin Laden ‘Confession Tapes”). This quote is spoken by Osama Bin Laden himself the day after the September 11, 2001 attacks on both Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and attempt to reach the White House although failed and crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Osama Bin Laden then was denying all accusations of him outlining the attacks on September 11, 2001. The morning of September 11, 2001 was not just any traditional day. Americans were full terror, grief, dismal, and awe as nineteen total hijackers on American Airlines…
September 11, 2001 changed America forever. The 9/11 cases challenged the government power and its relation to individual rights during times of war. Al-Qaeda, a terrorist organization funded by Osama bin Laden targeted the American government in a series of deadly attacks on 9/11 that killed over 3000 people and injured scores of others. The United States declared an act of war against Terrorism and soon was heavily involved in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Similar to the Korematsu v. U.S. (1944) Supreme Court cases where Congress authorization forces the government to comply with an order. The 9/11 cases were no ordinary in nature but it was different from similar cases. One must understand the complexity of the cases and the course of action…
In order to fully understand the Muslim jihadist group Al-Qaeda and their position outside of mainstream Islam, one must understand where they began and who helped bring them to such prominence. This is where Osama Bin Laden, America’s most wanted man following the September 11th terrorist attack on the World Trade Centers, comes to the forefront. He was credited with the founding of Al Qaeda and was often looked to as the inspirational figurehead of the organization throughout his period of leadership.…
Osama Bin Laden is considered to be the most wanted face of terrorism; the main face of the Al Qaeda group and worst terrorist in American history. After his worst event he put together: 9/11, Bin Laden went into hiding for 10 years: 2001-2011. On May 2, 2011 Bin Laden was found and killed by the US Government. From being a sweet boy to a killer, Bin Laden’s views on muslim beliefs became more dangerous than it should’ve been. Being an apprentice to a man, Abdullah Azzam, Bin Laden learned the key essentials to being a member of a muslim brotherhood, helping be the creator of Al Qaeda, and becoming the face of terrorism through the entire world.…

Reading about 9/11 has been very insightful, because we have considered the historical significance of it. The article “Security vs. Freedom” shows a lot of the historical aspect of 9/11. It explains…
Reading the book 102 Minutes, we see the perspective of the people who were trapped in the towers, but it also gives us the information about the 1993 bombing. This book states, “The 1993 bombing marked it as an icon and target.” ( Dwyer and Flynn 21). Reading this we can see that the September 11 attack on the Twin Towers was not the first attempt ever made. In my opinion the bombing of 1993 was a warning to the United States saying, “Look what we are capable of doing to your country.” Their plan was to kill around two hundred fifty-thousand people with one bomb. Unfortunately the bomb killed six people but injuring thousands. This mishap did not stop terrorism against America; one the other hand it was opening a door for them. “ From most perspectives, the 1993 bombing of the trade center, killing six people, had been a bleak moment, marking the arrival of terrorism to America” (Dwyer and Flynn 133). The history of terrorism has been nothing but hard work. It was like they never gave till they were happy with their actions. The question is are they ever happy with their actions, or do they want more destruction? To my understanding Bin Laden says that it is more important for Muslims to kill American people than any other activity. Another event in the history of terrorism attacks was the USS Cole Attack in 2000. It is to be known that this event was also under the control of Usama Bin Laden’s Al Qaeda networking; killing several Americans and injuring many. Seeing and knowing about the previous attacks Usama Bin Laden has been putting into action we can see that the Twin Tower collapse was not the moment that terrorism came to America. The Twin Tower attack was more of a statement saying, “Since you have not taken the 1993 bombing and USS Cole Attack…
The attacks on America on September 11th, 2001 killed “almost 3,000 people” according to theguarden.com. The attacks include the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and the naked field in a rural area in Pennsylvania. After 16 years of mourning, the evidence of the day of September 11th, 2001 still does not add up. Families have been fed lies so the government can cover up their disturbing secrets on the 9/11 attacks. The government has put the blame on Osama Bin Laden’s al-Qaeda terrorist organization. The amount of evidence that has been covered by the government is phenomenal. Here are a few of many pieces of evidence that sources have dug up.…
As we all know the mastermind of Osama Bin Laden was behind plenty of terror attacks to what we all call home, and the destruction from 9/11. In which the tragedy was unexpected, as all are, plenty of innocent lives were taken and devastation was placed in hearts. Yet, to this day, many questions still float around in the minds of Americans and the media as well. Everyone wants to know the reasoning behind such a cowardly act and why were situations extended beyond meanings.…
(Dr. Cronin, HS Class notes) Before the September 11th, the government’s main focus was not on terrorism. Since the attacks terrorism has been the main focus of the government. The 9/11 commissions began. The 9/11 commission is an independent involvement commission created by legislation and signed off the ex President George W. Bush in the late 2000s. The Commission is to prepare a full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, including preparedness for and the…
