On September 11, 2001 there was a terrible attack in United States in New York City and the Washington, D. C., which was launched by the Islamic terrorist group called al- Qaeda. On that Tuesday morning al-Qaeda hijacked four planes which were crashed into the World Trade Center North Tower, South Tower and the pentagon.
The first attack was taken place at 8:46 am in World Trade Center North Tower by American Airlines Flight 11 and the second attack was taken place at 9:03 am in South tower by United Airlines Flight 175. The third plane, American Airlines flight 77 crashed into the pentagon at 9:37 am. However, the fourth plane, United Airlines Flight 93 which was targeted at the United States capitol in Washington, DC crashed near Shanks Ville, Pennsylvania, southeast of Pittsburgh, at 10:03 am.
This incident killed almost 3,000 innocent people, not only were innocent people killed in this wreck, but also American heroes. Those heroes that each and every one of us sees every day but never stop to thank them for devoting their lives to save others. These heroes rushed in to the building not thinking about themselves, but thinking of those who are in danger. They climbed the stairs inside the building with all the intent to save many lives which were in danger after the incident. Just seeming like minutes later, the building tumbled to ground zero taking them with it. It is an honour, that these heroes saved our lives. This Incident also killed 19 hijackers abroad the four planes. “It was only two days ago and yet it seems like a lifetime, since I heard that awful crash. I was working at the world trade centre in the second floor. On that day as usual I came to work, it was a sunny day and everything was fine. As soon as I entered the premises, I started to work. After a while I heard an awful noise which made me shocked. It was only 8:46 am. Suddenly everyone started to panic but I was confused.
