The first game my group played was called Long Story Short. It was a game that consisted of five players, each with white boards and dry erase markers. Based upon whatever number the judge rolled on the dice. This game gives off a fun party like atmosphere, and is a great game to play with friends. It did not allow me…

The game of Jeopardy consists of questions on a certain academic subject. An advantage to this method is it promotes cooperative learning. Students are learning how to interact, collaborate, and work together with their peers to answer questions. Part of what makes the 4-H music contest so helpful is that it helps you build your confidence to play in front of people. Ask a friend, family member, or neighbor to listen to your piece. It will help calm your nerves when the big date comes, as you will already have played in front of others. This type of practice will make you appear calmer and ready to play your piece in the contest. Start out with small groups of people listening and slowly get more and more to come and listen if you can.…
