3 Things I Would Want to Change About Myself
Be more sympathetic, listen when I'm at my worst and drop my attitude I apparently have. Be more dedicated, focused in whatever I do, stop being irritable or turning things around; just do it, the earlier, the better. Chill more often and realize it is okay to have fun; it is okay to focus on my contentment. Life is short, we have a lot of responsibilities, but we might as well do them with a smile on our face I believe everything will go better, if you truly unwind every now and then. The first thing I would like to change about myself is to be more sympathetic towards people whenever I am in a bad mood. Just like today, when I've got a lot of stuff on my mind, I can get angry easily. The slightest thing can make me mad at someone and just turn quiet. I shouldn't do that, no matter how hard the thing I'm going through is. I have to stay serene and calm, worrying isn't going to help.
Another thing I would like to change about myself is to be more devoted, alert in anything I do, stop complaining and just do it. I have a terrible habit of procrastinating; I can go on for days trying to avoid completing a task thinking of ridiculous and bogus reasons not to do it. When I finally have to buckle down and get the task done I start to get annoyed and I start whining, I need to learn that that isn’t going to help at all.
The last thing I would like to change about myself is to be more relaxed about life and to wake up and smell the roses. It is okay to have fun and focus on your happiness. Sometimes I get so caught up in everything and I forget that I need to focus on what makes me happy. Life is way too short to be stressed out all the time. If I am going to fulfill my responsibilities I need to learn how to do it with a smile on my face and learn that it is going to benefit me in the future.
Those are the three things I would like to change about myself. There are plenty more things I would love to change but these are more realistic. I’m working on reinventing

Another skill that can be altered is my ability to work in groups if needed. I am a self starter and prefer to work alone on projects but I am more than capable of working with others on big projects. I am opinionated especially when it comes to a group project where my job may be on the line. All in all there are many skills that could be changed and or altered depending on the professional career direction that I consider to go in.…

One change I would make with my self-perception would be the way I see same-sex attraction because it has little to do with my sexuality, but a lot to do with my self-image and self-worth since I am gay. I have always noticed most of us guys who are gay and or experience same-sex attraction have good self-images; and we get along well in life. But I have to say that I have low feelings of self-worth; because my gut-level feelings tell me they are not worth much. So I do believe that can change my self-image or not, I see so many people who feels it is not right when they find out that I am gay. This is my self-image that establishes…

There is a very thin line between the person who you were and the person that you are right now. As humans, we experience millions of events that can affect and change our perspective on aspects throughout the course of our lives. Similar to caterpillars, we cannot be innocent and childish forever. There is a time for everybody to transform into something beautiful, and everybody’s time is different. Change can be good or bad, but most importantly, change helps us grow and become the people we were meant to be. How are we supposed to mature and enjoy our lives if we cannot accept the differences that life presents? For many people, metamorphosing is difficult because sometimes it can be a challenge to let go of something that was always a part of ourselves, such as letting go of a teddy bear, or a blanket, but for other people, it can be almost instantaneous.…

Possibly the most notable change I have undergone is from being an introvert, mostly keeping to myself, to someone who likes and sometimes prefers to be around other people. The introverted stage of my life occupied my entire childhood and the early stage of my adult life. When I graduated high school and joined the Navy, I was forced to not only be in close proximity of others, but to interact with and rely on those same people. Throughout the course of my service, it was this forced closeness that eventually got me out of my shell. I changed from the person who would sit in the corner by his lonesome into the person who would gather people together for a night out on the town. This was very contrary to how much of my family thought I would act as an adult. As stated in the Soomo Webtext (2012), “we cannot predict all of our eventual traits based on our early years of life”.…

For school, the thing that has changed was my grades have improved so that I was able to get principal's list. My life has changed because I have found out about my true friends and my “fake” friends. The ones that I know more outside of school are my true friends but the ones that I don’t talk to at all is different. This helped me change the way I look at people and kinda prejudge. But hopefully this habit will just go away with time.…

Even though my self-esteem rose it is still in the low category, so I need to raise that and once I do I’m sure my physical wellness will go up meaning I have more self-confidence to do things and take better care of myself. I also need to lower my interpersonal aggression so I can deal with situations and others with a more wise minded thought process instead of lashing out on others. Also I need to change my interpersonal deference and need to have some self confidence in myself and what I’m asking for. There is so much I need to improve…

Lastly is my third change, which is to focus on one thing at a time. I'll do this because it'll make doing homework projects and etc. easier for me and not overwhelming as much. Overwhelming myself it's pretty easy so what I'll do is one I'll take out one subject at a time preferably an order of my classes. I also know that if I'm not well organized things will get messy and things will be wrong. So to keep that from happening I'll put away or turn off all distracting things.…
