3 Idiots is a movie that highlights different aspects of life. Education and it’s flawed system, strict parents who never ask what their kids want, dealing with relationships, and surviving life with friends. What I like most about this movie is how it tackles a very serious issue/matter in society and still keeps it light. I talk about the flawed education system where students are taught that in life if you’re not first, you don’t matter. And that grades are all that matter and learning is only secondary. In writing this paper I cannot help but relate the movie in real life situations. I think the movie successfully relates to its audience especially, I think, to those who are crossing the path between graduating from school and entering the real world. Many graduating students can relate to the anxieties that Farhan and Raju experience as engineering students; the fear of not having a decent job to sustain and help their respective families. I think this resonates especially to us students here in the Philippines where getting good grades means getting a good job. But our protagonist Rancho thinks otherwise. And it can be seen in the ICE or Imperial College of Engineering in the movie. The dreaded principal “Virus” and his iron hand rule over the place, puts great pressure on his students. And we see how Rancho is openly going against this issue that has been there ever since. We all live by the saying of the Great Holy Guru Ranchoddas Chanchad; do not chase success! Follow excellence and success will follow you with its pants down which as we see as the movie progressed, is quite true for Rancho. In contrast to his two buddies, Rancho loved learning about engineering, he studied because he wanted to learn, study and discover; an attitude many students don’t possess. He believed that blindly cramming and memorizing terms would lead students nowhere and that they should understand what these concepts are. A couple of examples are the class where Rancho…

My reaction about the movie, 3 Idiots, that we watched last Monday (feb 13, 2012). Many people already told me that the move is worth watching for but I don’t know why I did not try to watch it before. So when I saw the title that we’re about watch, I felt the excitement because finally I can now watch the movie. Of course, I was asking myself, why are we going to watch this kind of movie? What’s relevance of 3 idiots to our Logic Class? So I just continued watching and forgot the things that I’m curious about haha! I kept on laughing and I forgot that we are watching that movie for almost 3 hours already. The story was great, I’ve learned a lot. Rancho did an extravagant part on the movie, most especially to his friends. Rancho tells us that success in studying is not achieved by solely memorizing definitions given by textbooks or professors, but by understanding and applying the concepts. And he also emphasized that one should follow excellence, not success, as success will come itself if excellence is followed. Those words are very inspiring and would love to be like him someday. One more thing that Rancho said to the movie, you can study without money, all you need it a uniform to wear. That message is for all the youth out there who don’t have money to go to school. You see, money is not important anyway, it is just something that can lead you to school but the willingness to learn is the real key. That movie showed the real essence of a real friend. Real friends who will not lead you to a wrong path rather lead you to right path to success. We, as a first year students, most of us are not sure why did we take this course. Some are because of their parents and some are because of the influence of their friends. In the movie, Rancho’s friend fahran took the Engineering course due to his dad’s wish but deep inside he wants to be photographer. That’s a lesson to us that we should follow our dreams because if we did not follow it, we are the one who will suffer in…

A case study (also known as a case report) is an intensive analysis of an individual unit (e.g., a person, group, or event) stressing developmental factors in relation to context. The case study is common in social sciences and life sciences. Case studies may be descriptive or explanatory. The latter type is used to explore causation in order to find underlying principles.[1][2] They may beprospective (in which criteria are established and cases fitting the criteria are included as they become available) or retrospective (in which criteria are established for selecting cases from historical records for inclusion in the study).…
