The habits that I have developed through the months in reference to exercising are phenomenal I run 4 days out the week and lift the other days. The times that I do miss my run is, because of the kids or it’s raining. I substitute the non-run days with cardio. The way my body has adapted to the change is unreal. I am also, training to be a personal trainer, so the impact of that conditioning is awesome. I have learned to condition myself, in a way that it isn’t a though to eat fast food.

When I do exercises my body feels great and the day seems to be much easier. I run and do some sort of strength training. Every day, I alternate between running and strength training.
When I feel myself over training, I take a break for a day. There has only been one time when I have experienced this and none sense. Personally, you have to do what’s comfortable for you, and find the ones that fit your lifestyle. Exercising isn’t an easy task, but once you start doing them they become easier, and part of your everyday lifestyle. My activity level is very high, because I exercise every day and walk at work along with classes provided in our worksite wellness program.

Since I have change my eating habits and incorporated a healthier lifestyle, my body is functioning so much better. Asthma for me hasn’t been an issue lately. I have cut out foods that can trigger the attacks and also the exercise has helped it. When I exercise I check my calorie burned and the calculations have been over 3000, my metabolism has speeded up as well. I eat 6 small meals a day and that keeps my body going. My weekly goal is to train to muscle failure every week, and to not get to comfortable with the exercises I am doing to the point I won’t push harder.

Each day I am striving harder to be a better me and fitter individual. The changes that I will incorporate are to continue eating my leafy

My life is an unusual one. My work schedule has me getting up before the sun rises and getting home before lunch time. After I get home, my time is mostly occupied by my two year old daughter. Then, I cook dinner and usually go to bed before the sun sets. Because of the nature of this lifestyle, there is not much time for things like exercise or any other physical activity. Do not get me wrong. I do participate in some mild physical activity associated with chasing my daughter around outside on a nice day or inside when the weather does not cooperate, but I would hardly call that exercise. On top of that, because of my daily routine, I do not have time to really concentrate on what I am…

I get most of my physical activity from work. I work usually eight hours a day and I am on my feet all day. I do moderate to light work at my job. I also have a two year old son that I have to chase around when I get home and that helps me get physical activity. Doing house work helps me with my physical activity. I like to scrub my kitchen floors at least every other day. I do not use a mop because I feel like it does not clean as well as when I am scrubbing on my hands and knees.…

I exercise on a regular basis and I try to watch the foods I eat. One only key changes I have made to meet the recommendations from the tracker is to take vitamin supplements. I have started doing this to make sure that my body is receiving all of the vitamins it needs on a daily basis. Even though I already have a pretty good nutrition and exercise plan, there are a few goals I have to assist me in optimizing my good health. One nutritional goal is to increase my water intake. I typically drink water while at work but I often drink soda while at home. In order to reach this goal I will have to stop purchasing soda at the grocery store and replace it with low calorie, low sugar drinks. By not having soda conveniently in my home, I will be more likely to drink healthier options such as water. My second nutritional goal is to track the foods I eat. Tracking the food I consume will help to make sure that I am getting the proper amount of fruits, vegetables, grains, and dairy. To meet this goal I will begin to write down everything I eat throughout the day. I have some physical exercise goals as well. One physical exercise goal is to become more active on a regular basis. I currently workout three days a week and I would like to increase that to at least five days a week. Another physical exercise goal I have for myself is to increase…

    Exercise Analysis

When looking at the current state of my exercise habits consists of walking at least 2 miles a day and jog 2 miles, stretches, and 30 minutes of deep cardio. I like to get up in the morning and start off with my stretching so that I do not become sore later on in the day, and it helps relax me and get me ready for my day. I like to stretch for at least 15-20 minutes every morning and stretching also helps with waking me up as well. After I get done with my stretches I will then go for a 1 mile walk to start and then jog for 20 miles, and then I will slow down the last mile and walk to cool down, and when I do it like this I feel as if I am more energized than I am on a pot of coffee. When I get back from my walk/jog I then get on the gazelle for 10 minutes total but then again I divide the time by having a warm up set amount of time of 5 minutes and a cool down set of time of 5 minutes as well. This helps to keep a good balance and does not overdue the heart while staying healthy and fit.…

You should have seen me in my mother's kitchen the other night when I stopped by for dinner. The pepper jack cheese was sitting there, in a bowl, grated, and taunting me. A bowl of cheese has become my weakness. Why? Because I have been depriving myself of everything dairy for the past month! So I nibbled. Sue me. BUT - something amazing happened over the weekend that I just had to share. Upon starting my journey in late May, early June of this year ( http://bit.ly/aQOnJO ) I had weighed myself obsessively. Every scale I came in contact with, I weighed myself. At home I had a digital scale, and a normal everyday $5 scale from Walgreens. At my mother's I had my sister's digital scale to use and at the in-law's I had a digital scale and an old school one. For the longest time I was only dropping 3-5 lbs here and there, gaining it back, losing it again, etc etc.... Every Monday was my "restart day". "Ok Amy, seriously, get on track this week." The eating wasn't so much my problem. I was spacing my meals out, eating tons of veggies and fruit, and trying to stick to my routine. Sure, yes, of course...let's throw the beer in there, because what other 28 yr old do you know when they get a break from their kids doesn't have a beer? Thank you. My problem was finding time to work out, exercise, get any kind of movement in. I took my son for "walks" which are really runs because I have to jog to keep up with him. And this little sucker lasts about a good mile, and then we get to "walk". So needless to say my cardio was come and go, absolutely no weight or strength training was occurring except for the occasional leg lifts and crunches I would do before bed, IF I remembered. Combine this with 2 vacations, 2 weeks apart filled with eating out, chips and dips and of course complete break from routine. So when June was coming to an end I was prepared to have July 1st as my "restart day" until I remembered the scales. I had…

I’m glad I was able to push myself to get to that point! It was my mission to change everything about me, that I could change with exercise. Whenever I started talking to people about it, they talked as though it was impossible to do. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I knew that couldn’t be right! That caused me to research my theory, to see if it was true. Once I was able to find information that supported my theory, I started to create a plan to get my desired result. I stood in the mirror and looked at all the things about me, that I felt like I could change.…
